There are two types of professionals in the Hungarian electronics industry. Those who have already soldered with a soldering iron and those who will! In a significant part of the Hungarian electronics industry, the professional knowledge of experts can be linked to soldering processes. Most of the soldering processes are used mass production technology, such as wave, selective and reflow soldering, however manual soldering is still used for many products where these processes cannot be used. Elas Kft.'s soldering technology portfolio has been completed since 2022 with the Elmotec robotic soldering machine. The presentation shows solutions for arising problems of hand soldering process, like "Subjective" technology, therefore not exactly repeatable, it is not compatible with modern quality assurance technologies. During the presentation, we will review the specifics of robotic solder soldering, presenting several tricks that can be used.
